To Return Student Safari

student safari

In June, the To Return student group came together for a safari to Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater. It was a wonderful reunion for the seventeen students, as most attend different schools. In addition to enjoying the wildlife viewing and time in nature, the students discuss their goals, successes, and challenges in school. With many students embarking on college studies, this was particularly valuable. Our older students provided leadership and counsel to the younger students in the group.

It was also a memorial event, as my family and I were able to join the students. It had been ten years since we’d all been together. I am very proud of this group of students. They are incredibly dedicated to their studies and have high aspirations. They also displayed incredible kindness towards each other and gratitude to you, their supporters, for making this gift of education possible.

From all of us at To Return, a big asante sana (thank you)!
